Dude,
I thought it was great myself.
Even teared up a few times myself.
One of the best movies I've seen...besides The Pianist.
The Passion of the Christ, rather. I saw it myself on Friday and am gonna see it with the parents (both) on Wednesday. Was wondering if any of the rest of you have been and what your impressions were. Myself, I enjoyed it greatly. Wasn't too badly shaken, though I did tear up a few times.

I feel a 70s nostalgia trip coming on.
I saw the movie last Saturday night. I thought the movie was well made, and certainly very strong in nature. This being said, it didn't affect me the same way it has so many. My faith is firm, and I simply felt like the violence was so great that I just wanted to leave the theater. I am just personally much more interested in the message of Jesus than I am the death of Jesus. In other words, I thought it was an excellent film, but I will certainly not ever see it again...and I would not recommend it to others.

<font size="3" face="Arial">I agree, Sandi. I thought that the message of size of the sacrifice was the point. Yes, Christ's message is more important. I think it's meant to affect people who are familiar with Christ's story and either have a weakened faith or are on the fence. It won't win over any atheists, I don't think. Agnostics, perhaps. I think that might be its purpose.Originally posted by Sandi Glam:

Yes, I said it...I thought the Pianist was great....and I'm not ashamed to say what I like.
Even went to see Cold Mountain with my girlfriend and that movie great also.
I've decided not to see it. My faith stands firm weather or not I view every movie about jesus ever made. I hate violence and yet,I'm very aware of what happened. I feel no need to witness A Hollywood renactment.
